Pat Cadell: How Dems can avoid Nov bloodbath - Become Republicans

Pat seems to suggest Dems should hide who they really are, and become capitalist conservatives. Sorry, I think that ship has sailed. The American people may have figured out that the Dems are controlled by a bunch of socialists. They can run individually as conservatives, but if you vote for a Democrat, even a self-proclaimed conservative Democrat, you get their liberal, dare I say it - socialist, leadership.

I've posted it here before, but it's worth repeating. If recent political activity proves one thing, it is that party trumps person. There are only two viable political parties, the Democrats and Republicans. One must chose whichever party best represents their views and vote accordingly.Even though your local Democrat politician may seem like a great guy or gal, he or she is Nancy Pelosi. In the end, he or she will tough the party line, which is to say, whatever Nancy Pelosi or Harry Reid want.
In the Washington Post, Democratic Pollsters Douglas E. Schoen and Patrick H. Caddell WRITE:
Democrats can avoid the electoral bloodbath we predicted before passage of the health-care bill, but in one way: through a bold commitment to fiscal discipline and targeted fiscal stimulus of the private sector and entrepreneurship.
