There were a few speeches, tributes to those serving our country, and some great singing. It was a very friendly gathering. Contrary to media reports about the Tea Party, this group was about as controversial a group of folks as those I encountered at my daughter's kindergarten graduation.
Update: Thank you Instapundit. Welcome Instapundit viewers.
Below are the only Obama/Democrat supporters I observed.

I notice that all of the collectivism supporters are white. RACISTS!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing. What a scary bunch, lol Beware the libertarians, who want to take over the federal government and . . . leave you alone! eek!
ReplyDeleteGraysonHill, that's stupid! Just because people are standing up for themselves and expressing what they believe in you consider them racists? That's an absurd and uneducated remark. Go back to your "blue" websites and make comments there because they're not welcome here.
ReplyDeleteGrayson - What a well educated comment! You are a smart one.....
ReplyDeleteBy the way Grayson - one of the speakers and headliners of this rally was a black man. He must be a racist also, right? Anyone who doesn't agree with Obama has got to be racist - It couldn't possibly be that his beliefs are Socialist and hurting our country.
ReplyDeleteDon' t you think Grayson's comment was supposed to be sarcastic against those who would call Tea Party patriots racist? He said "collectivism supporters are white & racist" thereby turning their own rhetoric against them. Collectivism supporters would be Obama supporters. They believe in the collective "good" as opposed to individual liberty. You know, spread the wealth around.
ReplyDeleteUm, I think Grayson was kidding.
ReplyDeleteThe hatred and the bigotry are palpable. Absolutely terrifying.
ReplyDeleteGrayson is addressing the pic of the 5 white Obama supporters.
ReplyDeleteKaren is right. I believe GraysonHill was referring to the last photo of the Obama supporters.
